JSC “EKOPRODUKTAS” INVESTMENT FOR ESTABLISHING A SOLAR POWER PLANT

The implementation of the company’s production processes requires high electricity costs, which have increased significantly in recent years due to the company’s production expansion.

In order to optimize production costs and increase investments in production volumes and reduce the negative impact of production processes on the environment and based on the conclusions of the energy consumption audit report, UAB “EKOPRODUKTAS” initiates a project, during which it is planned to install energy production capacities using renewable energy resources (RES).

A 400 kW solar power plant will be installed during the implementation of the project.

It is financed according to the activity “Encouraging the implementation of renewable energy resources in industrial enterprises” of the progress measure “Encouraging companies to move towards a climate-neutral economy” of the economic transformation and competitiveness development program of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, the manager of the 2022-2030 development program.

The total value of the project is 356,500 EUR

Funding for the project from the European Regional Development Fund and the funds of the Republic of Lithuania – 178,875EUR. 

The applicant’s own funds – 177,625 EUR.

The project is implemented from 2023. September 22 until 2025 September 20
