Pusryčiu idėja su alaus mielėmis

Looking for a snack that’s crunchy, nutritious, and made without flour or additives? This seed cracker recipe is the perfect choice for anyone wanting to snack mindfully. Now it’s even more enriched with brewer’s yeast flakes, which enhance the flavor and boost the protein and B‑vitamin content.

Why It’s Beneficial

Brewer’s yeast is a natural product obtained from fermenting beer. It’s a source of B‑group vitamins, protein, chromium, selenium, and other minerals. Thanks to its unique composition, brewer’s yeast has become a popular dietary supplement – especially for those looking to improve their skin health, overall well‑being, and B‑vitamin intake.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chia seeds (approx. 140 g)
  • 1 cup flax seeds (approx. 160 g)
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds (approx. 140 g)
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds (approx. 130 g)
  • 1 cup water (240 ml)
  • 2 tbsp brewer’s yeast flakes (approx. 15 g)
  • Oil, to taste (about 1–2 tbsp)
  • Salt, to taste

Preparation

Combine ingredients. In a large bowl, mix all the seeds together with brewer’s yeast flakes. Pour in the water, add a drizzle of oil, season with salt, and stir thoroughly.

Soak. Let the mixture rest for 15–20 minutes, allowing the chia and flax seeds to swell and bind everything into a cohesive mass.

Bake. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Spread the seed mixture in a thin, even layer on a parchment‑lined baking sheet. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the crackers are crisp and golden.

Cool & break. Allow the baked sheet to cool completely, then cut or break it into bite‑sized pieces.

These crackers aren’t just crunchy – they nourish your body, too. And with the addition of brewer’s yeast flakes, they become even more nutrient‑dense!
